pretty much all programs i know here use ctrl + z and we're used to do that weird long grip 😃 (QWERTZ)
on windows at least u can change layout using alt + shift to get the american one. (swapped y and z and all the other stuff like ? etc.), that's why i was surprised for the mac one to be cmd + y

Hi!! 🙂

I just tried out your soft which is great by the way!!
Unfortunately i've got a problem with the undo command on your soft i just can't use it i tried everything but doesn't work out... I also thought that maybe changing the hotkeys from ctrl to cmd could've worked but it didn't.
I'm using spine 1.8.20 and OS X 10.9.2 (Maverick version).

Hope you'll have the time to fix this issue which very troublesome.
Thanks a lot!
Keep going your great job!

Undo should work on Mac. Be sure to use command+Z, not control. What keyboard layout are you using?

Hi Nate,

I'm having this issue too (Spine 1.9.15), but I never reported it. I used to edit my skeletons on windows so I don't have this issue 😃
But I've to work on Mac for the coming month, so it would be nice if you could do something about this now.

The issue seems to occur only for european keyboards (azerty I mean).
If I use CMD-W, it's correctly doing an undo ('W' on an azerty kbd is physically placed where the 'Z' is placed on a qwerty one), but it's not practical.
Is there something you can do about this issue?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks for the extra information, I'm Sure Nate will look into it when time permits cause that is pretty bad!

The best you can do for now is change the hotkey for undo.

Thanks a lot Nate, I didn't think of that option (in fact I never noticed we can change hotkeys) 😃

Same issue here.
Spine 1.9.15 on OS X with QWERTZ Keyboard. (German)
command-z does not undo, but command-y does.

Just edit the hotkey file (like I did), it's working just fine.
I suspect it would be too much trouble to auto-detect the keyboard (or use virtual keys instead of hard keys) so we have a clean solution. It's better for Nate to spend time on things that can't be worked around 😉

I'm sure Nate will look into it at some point, but currently he is focusing on more important things. It's definitely not optimal the way it is now, but at least it can be worked around.

Is there any update on this? My undo is broken too. 🙁

edit: wow I just bumped a 4 year old thread. Well, I'm using OSX on the latest version of Spine 3.6.26-beta and undo seems to be broken (works only sometimes). I had used an old Spine file and started working in it, so if you use a legacy spine file this can happen.

Started a fresh file and I am still seeing the undo problem, I first noticed it after I made shear adjustments.

This is pretty bad for me, I can't work without undo.

This was long since fixed, undo should work fine. You say it only works sometimes? That doesn't sound like a key mapping problem. Is it reproducible? For example, you take 10 actions (eg move a bone 10 times) and then press undo 10 times, which happens? We recently made some changes in 3.6 to fix Wacom hotkeys on OS X, I wonder if that is related. Do you see the problem when using 3.5.51?

Does not work shortcuts "Undo" and shortcuts "Save".
Spine 3.6.25 & 3.6.26 too
macOS Sierra

OK, thanks. It's likely the Wacom fix. We are looking into and will have a fix ASAP.

Sorry, that was my fault. We've just pushed 3.6.28-beta which contains a fix for this issue.

It was badlogic errybody! Get 'im! :punch:

Everything works great! Thanks for the quick fix!

I know this issue is supposed to be fixed, but I am running latest Spine (3.6.48 Professional ; Launcher 3.6.46) and Undo/Redo doesn't seem to work. (I tried CMD+Z, CTRL+Z etc...)

Running on macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 (17B48)

As additional information, I am using a French keyboard (AZERTY), but I don't think that's related since pressing CMD+Q will quit the software as expected, CMD+N create a new project etc... just like a QWERTY keyboard.

Can't say when it stopped to work as I didn't use it much on mac before 😐
