  • Hi, thanks for the reply.

Here is one of the PNGs: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqJy6uMixvRxgepvwZqnFzJTYKwjjw?e=CBhntw

I don't see an option to select sRGB in the Affinity Designer exporter, so I don't know about that, but I checked that is was the same as the previous animation's images, which I didn't have this problem with.

I am on a Mac mini with a Samsung monitor and the colour profile is set to U28E590, which is the model of the monitor.

I first noticed the difference in Chrome, which developing the game, so it's not just in Spine that there is a difference.

    Cheers,
    Andy

Update: looks like there is a colour profile option in the Affinity products (https://affinityspotlight.com/article/display-colour-management-in-the-affinity-apps/), so I will have a play with it tomorrow. This is almost certainly the issue.

    Thanks again,
    Andy

That was it! The document setup itself was not set to sRGB on the second animation, and it wasn't an export option. Once I converted it, everything was fine.

    Cheers,
    Andy

  • On my second animation the colours are washed-out on imported images. On the first animation this did not happen. The images were exported from Affinity Designer using the Spine exporter and on-disk the import images are not washed-out.

Please note I don't have a tint set on the attachment.

    O/S: macOS 10.5.4
    Spine: 3.8.95 Essential.

  • I am new to Spine and working on a Mac and I cannot get a new bone to auto-attach to an image using the cmd key.

I press Create and then select the parent bone (root for example) and cmd-click either the slot or the attachment and when creating the bone it's created as a child of the parent bone but the slot/attachment is not attached and it's named "bone".

    I am using 3.8.95 Essential.

OK so I watched the video at the end of the user guide page and it shows you need to select the attachment within the editor not within the tree view.

I am not sure why it doesn't consider selection within the editor or tree (of either slot or attachment) to be valid in this context? Seems like something that could be improved 🙂

Anyway Spine is a lovely bit of software and I am enjoying using it.

    Cheers,
    Andy
