  • Hi Jaf,

Sadly we won't be able to work with you if you don't have an iOS device. As we would expect you to be able to load the game up and play it, discussing the work with us based upon your play.

    Regarding the other points:

    • We would require an invoice of some sort - even if not official. Paypal should work.
    • We would not accept an hourly rate. Instead we would only accept a single fee for the whole job - agreed in advance, and paid upon completion.

Assuming the iOS device is a no-go, then I'll say thanks, but no thanks.

    All the best,

    San.

  • Hi Jaf,

Thanks for getting in touch. I have a couple of questions for you:

    • Can you provide me with a ball-park on your weekly / daily cost?
    • Would you be willing to do a test for us?
    • Do you have an iOS device? If so, which device and on which OS version?
    • I assume you already have a Spine product license?
    • Where are you located (time zone)?
    • Are you able to provide an invoice from a company for any work completed?

    Regards,

    San.

  • We're in the process of finishing off our next iOS game: Mountain Biker. We already have animations, but changes to the bikes and size of rider means that we need to change these animations a bit. They need to be tweaked / tuned / fixed / etc. There are a few other changes to the animations that need to be done to bring the game up to quality.

All in all 1-2 weeks worth of work for a talented animator with experience in Spine.

Our previous contract animator is no longer available due to other contracts, and we need the work completed within the next 3 weeks.

If you are interested, please send an email to san at escapistgames com - we'll add you to our BETA test group so that you can see / play the game, review the issues and get an idea of scope. After that, we can discuss pricing, time-frame and how good a fit you are for the job.

We are happy for you to work from home, as long as you are a good communicator and have a good internet connection.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    San Shepherd.
