Subject: Needed: 2D Spine Animator for Tactical RPG

    kgambill a écrit

Hello! My studio Winterborn is looking to bring on a contract animator to animate character units for our upcoming isometric tactical RPG Externus: Path of the Solari. We are a small indie studio and have way more work than our sole artist can handle, and luckily our Kickstarter for the game last year was successful for raising funds to bring on a contract animator.

Your role would be working with our artist to get characters rigged and animated into Spine. The animations will be a mixture of more simplistic sprite-inspired combat animations to some more detailed animations for scripted cutscenes.

Work will be fully remote as our studio is already fully remote, and work hours are completely up to you as long as things are done in a timely fashion and there are no problems with communication between you and the team.

    Requirements:
    Spine Professional License
    Experience using skins in Spine

    Bonus:
    Experience with isometric animations
Experience with version control software (we use Perforce)
    Love of tactical RPGs
    Photoshop Experience

If interested, please send me a message and include experience, links to work you can showcase, and your desired rate. I can provide additional information there and if we move forward will probably set up a video call with the team or at the very least our artist you would be working with.

You can find more information about the game at https://externusgame.com/

Finally, here are images for a few of our characters so you have an idea of what you would be working with

Thank you colmandesilva. I sent you a private message. Regards, Brian

    Hi

We are looking for someone that can rig and animate in Spine and with an impeccable feel for motion.

We are a Danish based iGaming company. Our focus has been quality over quantity since day one. We design and create all our games in-house and not licensing to anyone else. Therefor we have full creative freedom throughout all phases of the project.

We have a few that can do Spine in-house animations however they are not dedicated ressources. As the number of games in production is growing we are looking for a long term relationship for either freelance work or full time work. We are willing to help relocate to Copenhagen if we find a good fit and the individual is interested in full time employment. We are also open to remote work.

Please reach out if you have interest and availability within the next few months.

  • This sounds interesting Holly. I already sent you an email 🙂

    Hello!
I am Adam and I am a project manager at RedDeerGames.
Our studio is actively looking for animators who work in Spine software. Contract cooperation, but long-term. Rather, I'm looking for someone experienced. Obviously, a fully commercial (paid) proposition. Is there anyone here willing to cooperate? :detective:

  • Méthode rapide de création d'animation traditionnelle à partir d'images clés. (frame by frame)

    Hi,

Futureplay Games is looking for an experienced senior animator available full time for a period of 2 to 3 months and will possibly be extended.

Our aim is to have high quality animations for many creature characters, that display both personality and are moving realistically, yet in a fun way. Charming, cute and funny, they will interact with the players and other creatures.

The final art assets will be provided to the animator by us.

We are looking for someone that is also able to create the rigs for the creatures in order to animate them.

If your skills match the high quality level we are looking for, and you can start in the best delays, please share your portfolio and contact information in a PM with me. We look forward to review it!

If contacted, an NDA will need to be signed before more project details are provided. The next step will be an animation test, which will be remunerated.
