Bipolar Hi, I'm writing here because I drawn a path doihg the IK: I followed this tutorial to learn. Now I've got a problem: after the IK I set, there are two bones in the hierarchy: foot and toe. I just used the IK because they're just two bones. Everything is perfect in the leg, except foot and toe: this two bones deform their scale(so the mesh too) in unwanted poses deforming badly the skin. Here's two pic: Maybe I need to modify some parameter in Path Costrain options? Thanks. 🙂
Bipolar Erikari a écritDid you apply scaling on any of the parent bones of the one you're turning by any chance? Which parent bone? Femur bone or Foot bone?
Erika any of them? (by the way since you're using the Italian version of Spine, if you prefer you can use the Italian section of the forum as well (: )
Bipolar Erikari a écritany of them? (by the way since you're using the Italian version of Spine, if you prefer you can use the Italian section of the forum as well (: ) Ok, Next Time 🙂 Anyway yes Scale is enabled in both parent bones, disabling it would resolve the problem, but Scale and Rotation are required enabled to use IK. 🙁
Pharan I think the feet bones need to be a child of the yellow bones. Not the constrained chain. But also make sure you don't scale the yellow bones.
Erika I had a look at his project, this was solved by scaling the bones back to their 1.0 scale. The problem was using the Scale tool instead of the Tools - Spine User Guide: Bone length tool which resulted in the child bone's weird distortion on rotation.
