  • Highly Experienced 2D/Spine Animator Needed [PAID]

Hi everyone,

We're a small group of enthusiasts (Brutalist Studio) anonymously creating a 2D game called RAWconcrete, in Unity engine.

For those interested, more about the game on our recently created YouTube channel (www.rawconcretegame.com website under development):

We're looking for a highly experienced 2D animator, that can do realistic animations for characters and objects, done in realistic style.

Attached rar contains few of the levels (WIP) to get the style of the game, test animations for some reference and finally, the character, the boy that we need animations for (for him only at the moment). We need walk animation, walk on stairs (up and down), and jump animation, for now. This is not exactly a pixel art game, we have anti-aliasing all over, as well as on the character, as you'll see, something to keep in mind. Traditional frame by frame animation would probably be the best, but, we want to see what can be done with Spine.

Let us know via PM if you're up to the task, and please make sure you leave your website/youtube demo reel/etc. so we can reach you beyond this forum. Paying via PayPal only. We would go with the walk animation first and, if we end up satisfied, we go with else.

Once again, we need realistic animations, much like the one in the video below, no funky effects (no 3D effect, keep it 2D) and such:

Kind Regards,

Hello,

I would do the walk cycle for you but i need a PSD file with the character prepared in several layers.

the PSD file in the attachment contains only a background layer and the foreground (boy) and nothing more...

Let me know if you can provide a PSD with those layers.

Cheers,

David

Is this Job still open or closed?

Here i have animated a walk cycle in a couple of hours. Still some tweaks could be made... Best is, if you download the video and watch it with "repeat or cycle" turned on, as the cycle itself is only 28 frames.

Let me know what you think!
