  • Attaching skin to a mesh with multiple bone

Hi,

I am new is spine. I was wondering if could set skin in a mesh. Suppose i have a image of a hand i created a mesh of it and bind three bones to it. Now is there any way i can attach skin to the hand image. I am aware that i can link mesh but i want to attach skin. is there any way??

You can put a mesh inside a skin, yes. First you need to create a new skin in the skins section, then just select the mesh in the tree view, and create a new skin placeholder.

Regarding your second question, you can duplicate a mesh and not make it a skin placeholder, just click the duplicate button, whihc is next to the linked mesh button. Once duplicated you can replace the path of the image to have a different image set, or you can simply deselect the "mesh" checkbox so that the mesh will stop being a mesh and go back to being an attachment.

suppose i have a slot under that slot i have a mesh which is not under any bone.....now if create skin placeholder and attach image two different skin then the position of the slot changes every image i attach to skin placeholder gets placed into center...i dont know what to do
