  • Animation not moving between keyframes

Sorry all,
I know this is a rookie question and you've probably been asked a billion times, but I really can't my answers on the Internet.

Parts of my animation aren't moving when i scroll between the keyframes.

Imagine a simple walking cycle. From 1st to 2nd keyframe, the limbs will all move correctly. From 2nd to 3rd keyframe, only one arm will move. Even though I have keyframed all edited parts with 'K'.

Any ideas?

If you pose your skeleton at one frame and then go to another frame without having first set keys, the pose will disappear. Maybe that's what's going on?

Otherwise please post a screenshot with the dopesheet visible.

Turns out I hadn't deselected the limbs I was editing so when I pressed K, it was only keyframing the one active limb.

Seems odd though, I would have thought it would keyframe everything edited regardless of whether it was actively selected or not.
Is that right?
