Hi,
I'll admit it...: I've been unfaithful to Spine and I have been playing with another program. Creature to be specific. :$
And now I'm back again with Spine. I won't waste your time explaining why, but one thing's for sure: no software is perfect. Not Spine, nor its competitors.
That said, one thing I know I'll miss a lot about Creature is that useful 'Test Mode'.
It's basically a sandbox posing mode in which you can move around your toon. The good thing about it is that you can do whatever you want and when you return to the rig or animation mode no changes are saved.
And I think that is one mighty useful thing to have in Spine because, let's be honest, like it is now the undo functionality is a bit lacking. You don't have an edit -> undo "whatever thing you did" feature and you need to press Ctrl+Z and pray that whatever you did gets undone, nothing less nothing more. There's no history there and it's like shooting without aiming first.
So lacking that control, I think a 'test mode' in which you could pose the character to yours heart content would be great.
Thank you.
