This is the kind of thing I'm seeing. Hopefully the screenshot conveys it... Do the edges appear very faint on your display?
The effect here for me is such that, looking at the screen normally, the edges are only just barely visible. If I squint my eyes slightly, the edges disappear completely. That's how faint they are.
