Blurred images when using Weights/Skinning
Hi,
I have a problem on skinning. I'm just a new user of spine so forgive my ignorance. I've made the hair of my character straight knowing that I can bend it using spine with mesh and weights.
However, when it's time for me to bend the parts, the image became distorted.
Could you please advice me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Were the weights automatically generated?
Some of them look like they're simply incorrect (why those random shards are appearing).
Yes they were automatically generated. Not really 100% sure how to manipulate weights as of the moment, just tried it for the first time.
Just from the pies (thanks for the screenshot), the bone at the tip is affecting the weights in the middle, which is illogical— it's also why your edges in the middle are being stretched.
Have you tried pressing "Auto" again? I'm not sure if this is the auto-weights doing weird stuff or you accidentally added the bones one by one and auto-weights kicked in before everything was added.
My initial suspicion is you added the first and last bones to the simple mesh, auto-weights happened, then added the middle bones and extra vertices later.
Hi Pharan, thanks for your reply.
Yes I tried pressing "Auto" but to no avail. Actually my process was to put bones first, then create mesh, then that's the only the time I bind everything to the bones.
Maybe the mesh that I've made is the culprit?
Hey Guys,
Just an update, I think Pharan you're correct about the mesh having the problem. I tried redoing the mesh and it worked!
Thanks for your help specially Pharan. More power guys!
