Hi everyone,
I’m working on a bee death animation and I’d like some advice on the best approach.
The bee’s setup is fairly simple:
A head with two medium antennas.
Four wings that only flap (no complex motion).
A body made of a few bones, mostly two main sections.
For the death animation, here’s what I’d like to achieve:
Wings: detach from the body and fall down like feathers, dissolving after a short while.
Head: pop upwards with a little bounce/rotation and then fall down.
My main question is: what’s the recommended way to approach this in Spine without animating everything frame by frame? Can physics constraints, bones, or other newer Spine features help automate the motion (falling, rotation, secondary movement), or is it better to key everything manually?
Any workflow tips or examples for this type of “falling apart” death animation would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!
