  • I can't see the Transform Constraint Keys in Graph & Dopesheet Views?

Hello, I am animating a chef character tossing knives into the air and catching them. I have the knives attached to the hands of the character via Transform Constraints. When he lets go of the knives, the transform constraint's mix value is slowly turned off and then back on as he is about to catch them.

However, on my first pass I don't like the timing of where the mix value starts and stops. I can't seem to find the mix value keys on the graph or dopesheet views? I can only see them as red/green key symbols in the tree view when i scrub carefully. Is there an easier way to visualize them to play with their timing. I would like to slide them around like I can with the regular keyed bones in the program.

(I'm also unsure how I can delete those red/green keys in the tree view to start fresh?)

Thank you in advance!

To visualize and manipulate the transform constraint keys for your animation, you should ensure that the dopesheet is properly filtered to show constraint keys. In the dopesheet, you can filter to show only the keys for constraints, which will help you see and adjust the timing of the mix values. If you can't see the keys, make sure that the dopesheet filter is not hiding them. You can also use the graph view to adjust the timing and values of these keys, but ensure that the sync option is not limiting the visibility of the keys you want to adjust.

To delete the red/green keys you see in the tree view, you can select them in the dopesheet or graph view and press the delete key. If they are not visible, ensure that the visibility dot for the transform constraint is enabled in the tree view, which will allow you to see and manage these keys more effectively.

I have realized my mistake now. I was trying to group select and key my 2 transform constraints simultaneously. These constraint keys will only appear on the dopesheet when selected one at a time.
