  • Regarding the Clearance of License Issues

Hello,guys
I previously utilized a group account with the ID A, which contains 10 licenses. I have already used 6 of them. I've recently upgraded my PC and transferred the old hard drive to the new computer. After doing so, I reactivated the spine software. My question is whether this reactivation will consume an additional license from the remaining allotment. How can I operate to use my existing license without taking up a new one?

Reactivating Spine on a new computer should not consume an additional license from your remaining allotment. The Spine license system is designed to automatically log out of the old computer when you activate Spine on a new one. This means you can continue using your existing license without taking up a new one.

If you encounter any issues or receive an error message during activation, it is best to check the specific error message and ensure that you are not consistently using the license on more than two computers concurrently. If you still face problems, you can email the support team at [contact@esotericsoftware.com](mailto:contact@esotericsoftware.com) for further assistance.

Thank you for your response. However, I directly transferred the hard drive to a new host machine, and the hardware of the host has been changed. Will this affect the additional license?

anwer We can only confirm how many times the activation code has been used for installation, but this may allow you to check to some extent whether your license is being used in accordance with the specified number of users, so we recommend that you contact us by email. It would be great if you could send an email to contact@esotericsoftware.com from the email address on your license.
