  • [Suggestion] Selection Storage Feature

Currently, we can store selections using the "Ctrl+number" shortcut. However, when multiple selections are stored, it becomes challenging to recall which specific content is associated with each shortcut. To enhance usability, I suggest implementing an interface that allows users to assign custom names to their stored selections. This feature would significantly improve organization and retrieval of saved content.

Your suggestion to enhance the selection storage feature by allowing users to assign custom names to their stored selections is a great idea. This would indeed improve the organization and retrieval of saved content. There is already an ongoing discussion and a related issue on this topic, which you can find here: Improve Stored Selections · #409 · EsotericSoftware/spine-editor. This feature has been requested by multiple users and is on the roadmap for future improvements.

Currently, you can store selections using Ctrl+number and recall them with the corresponding number key. However, adding the ability to name these selections would make it easier to remember and manage them, especially in complex projects.
