  • Reset Spine to default workspace

I am recording a tutorial video where I will be showing overview of the Spine Interface when you open it first time, I have no idea how the default workspace looks, tried to reset the settings or log out and log back in did not help, all resets, except my workspace layout 😃 help

I found this image but not sure if that is what people see opening spine first time

You can delete your Spine user files:

Windows: <user home folder>\Spine
Mac: <user home folder>/Library/Application Support/Spine
Linux: <user home folder>/.spine

You can also backup these folders, in case you want to restore a particular view layout. You really only need the files in the settings subfolder.

    Nate which one to delete to reset the workspace layout? and maybe you can explain what is for what? just curious 🙂

      editor Editor settings.

      hotkeys Hotkeys.

      launcher Launcher settings (nothing to change in there).

      recent Recent files.

      start Settings that affect both the launcher and editor.

      views The layout of the editor views.

      When there are multiple files with a number, it means the lower number is for older versions. This allows us to make big changes to settings, but keep them separate from older versions. We don't do that very often.
