SCIA I am doing scientific research. Two animations created in Spine. The style of drawing and ideas are completely different. Which animation do you like best? Please reply from the link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfBEhYHMUjHGt_0cJXkUMZ0itEIWGdFArjWDtyaxKb_biWgWw/viewform
Nate The top one has more and brighter colors, larger movement that is less repetitive, and it has a word with letters that animate and flash. All that makes the top one draw more attention. The bottom one is still cool looking, but it's hard to compete with the top animation.
Mario I like the bottom one more for that fact that it has great plasticity. The top one has more going on on the surface, but the bottom one seems much more elaborate.
SCIA Thank you very much for your feedback and for your vote. I was doing a presentation on whether animation can beat good art (static drawing). For static art voted as follows: 84% - an elephant. 16% - penguin. For the animation, the voices have changed: 57% - a penguin, 43% - an elephant. A little over 100 people voted. The conclusion is that even if the picture is drawn worse, animation can make it cooler. Here I have explained everything in detail. Unfortunately, there is no English yet. But there are subtitles
Misaki I have watched the video. While I watched it with auto-translated subtitles, it was very clear and informative! 😃 I really appreciate you giving such a clear explanation of your animation methods. Indeed, your animations are truly remarkable not only in the rigging and animation but also in the ideas. It is AMAZING that you have the talent to animate such a great variety of characters with so many different ideas!
