in 3d packages there is such an option as layers. For example, on the base layer, I have an animation of a character jumping. On the layer above (additive) I am working on the animation tuning by adding rotations and additional small displacements. After finishing work on both layers, I can merge into one base layer. Is there any similar way to mix 2 animations or curves into one? I mean just to get the animation on one channel. Not like in the preview where we can mix multiple animations in different channels. Thanks a lot!
Merge 2 curves in to one [v 4.0 - 4.1]

Combining two or more curves can result in movement that isn't describable using Bezier curves. We'd need to bake the resulting animation, meaning to set a key every X frames. This would result in many keys. That isn't ideal for performance and makes it difficult to edit. The feature could still make sense if we also had tools for simplification, which replaces multiple keys with fewer keys that describe (roughly) the same curve.
We've discussed adding these features, but we have other features we want to get to in the short term.
