Mass Reset selected (but not all) meshes. Missing Hotkey.
I need a way to mass reset 20-30 selected meshes in a Spine file, as in going Edit Mesh -> Reset to return it to a 4 vertex full rect image. I have to do this on 6-7 skins on 4 different characters, which manually is going to be around 20 hours of work.
Edit Mesh can be assigned a hotkey, however in the Hotkeys.txt, there is no option for Reset, only
Edit Mesh - Modify:
Edit Mesh - Create:
Edit Mesh - Delete:
Edit Mesh - Deformed
Edit Mesh - Reset is curiously absent, and adding it manually and assigning a hotkey didn't work either.
Hotkeying Edit and Reset is only a work-around however, the ideal sollution would be a way to mass Edit Mesh - Reset multiple selected attachments.
We've added more Edit Mesh
hotkeys in 3.7.60-beta.
I'm curious, why do you need to do this to so many meshes?
More hotkeys are good!
The reason is the person who set up our characters built very tight hulls around the art of each attachment with vertexes, even though they are weighted to a single bone with no deformation. The number of vertexes is almost 4x what we need and its affecting performance badly.
Every single character and all their skins have this problem, so were trying to mass fix it all in some way or another.
