Spine redownloads each startup (VMWARE Linux Mint 19 TARA)
Just installed spine (pro) on my linux mint 19 tara (vmware).
Each time I open Spine it has to redownload.
Steps I took to install & start spine:
-Download latest spine from website (64bit, linux edition)
-Extract Spine.
-Move extracted folder to /opt/Spine/
-Launch with 'Spine.sh'
-Register
-Programs opens no problem
-After close and reopen Spine redownloads again, and opens ok.
I tried deleting folder /Home/.spine/
It made me download and re-register Spine again. But same bug occurs.
Any idea?

Just did a complete reinstall of the system.
Same problem...
Hmm, it could be something about the VM that triggers the download. While I'm sure it's annoying, at least it is not a blocker! We don't normally test running Spine in a VM. Is there a reason you are using a VM? Performance is sure to suffer.
Im constantly travelling, and using multiple computers to do dev work, which are changed often.
For me having everything inside a VM is the easiest solution. I never have to reinstall New computer? Just move over the VM.
Performance wise I don't see a difference (using fairly powerful hardware of course).
It's not a stopper but I can't use spine without internet connection this way. Surely it can't be too hard to find the cause?
If you need any info's from me I am happy to help.
Ah, makes sense. We'll get a VM set up and investigate soon.
