Editor: Crash when mesh are reset
Hello !
I've got a reproducible crash in the "Editor" mode in Spine, about FFD,
It's not crashing every time, but sometime when I do this process:
-my animation is already done with FFD
-I go to "edit mode" for the mesh, and "reset" my mesh to do a new one
-I go back to "animation" mode and select my animation
-I see the previous FFD's key on my timeline, BUT without interpolation
-try to select them
-crash
Like I said, it's happening sometime, so it's difficult to catch the "error report" when it's happening. I will try next time.
Anyway, does it's ring any bells for you?
(I use Spine 3.6.51)
Hi! thanks, could you possibly record a video/gif the next time it happens and send us the problematic project to contact@esotericsoftware.com mentioning this thread, please?
Thanks, but I just tried a few minutes ago, and I cannot reproduce it :s
Like I said, it's random so not possible to record by a video. But I can probably catch the crash's report when spine will crash again :p
I know the bug "works" with a complex projet on Spine, when I try to optimise my mesh with the "reset" option.
So maybe sometime it's difficult to Spine to calculate the reset's mesh for all the animation when the mesh is heavy ? I'm not sure, let's see when I'll have the crash's report !
Here we go, Spine crash again

Hi guys, do you have any news about this crash?
The editor people are currently on vacation, I've forwarded them this for when they come back.
Just encoutered
WARNING: Deform keys truncated
myself after resetting a mesh. I stumbled across this thread trying to look for solution.
Not sure if it'll help your situation but I used the "Clean Up" tool across all animation and it seemed to get rid of the junk that was causing the error. The file is working properly again running 3.6.47 Pro.
Hope it helps.
Cheers!
Ho thanks, I will try that the next time
"Clean Up" tool
Worked for me, thanks
