  • Cut complex animation at middle

Hi Guys,

I need this ability for a while.

I want to cut animation and move second part as separate. Now one by one I go and key at that particular frame. and then just copy it into new animation.

there is also a second way.. select all bones and just key everything.. but.. maybe we can have one Key If Exist button which just keys a timeline if that has any key in it. so I will avoid many unnecessary frames or hard work to key necessary frames manually.

there are also other needs for that. for example I do one animation and want next to start at exactly end of the current. but my end frame is not necessarily contains all keys. so I need to manually again go and key all.

I suggest you have a look at the cheat sheet: Spine: Cheat Sheet

Especially the keying section:

K Key all changed
L Key active transform
CTRL+L Key all transforms on selection
CTRL+SHIFT+L Key all keyed dopesheet items (Key current pose)

I usually press SPACE to deselect everything so that I can see the whole dopesheet, then press CTRL+SHIFT+L to create keys on all the currently visible timelines (that is to say, all timelines that have a property keyed!) copy them, undo the creation of keys, then paste in a new animation 😃
